Are you an HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Driver looking for flexible work?
The Best Connection are recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Darlington, a leading kitchen production and distribution company. This role offers the flexibility of ad-hoc shifts, ideal for drivers who want to fit work around their schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver kitchens alongside a driver's mate
- Handballing required (items up to 25kg)
- Customer-facing role - friendly and professional manner essential
- Represent both the client and The Best Connection to a high standard
- Pick up ad-hoc shifts when required to suit your availability
Requirements:
- Ideally 2 years of commercial Class 2 driving experience (drivers with less considered)
- In-date Cat C licence, CPC and Digi card
- Smart appearance
- Positive attitude and good customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 25kg
- Induction required before starting
Hours:
- Start times between 04:00 - 06:00
- Ad-hoc shifts when required, Monday to Friday
Pay Rates:
- £14.09 per hour (first 10 hours)
- £21.14 per hour (after 10 hours)
