Summary
We are seeking dedicated SEND Specialist Tutors to deliver personalised, 1:1 tuition to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a meaningful difference to learners who need tailored, consistent support.
We are looking for inspirational tutors across the Bridgwater area to support children and young people with a variety of SEND needs. Many of the pupils we work with have experienced disrupted learning, may feel anxious about school, or have struggled to engage in a classroom environment.
As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will plan and deliver bespoke 1:1 lessons designed to close learning gaps, rebuild confidence, and promote progress. Whether you're an experienced tutor or teacher, or have a background working with young people in a therapeutic capacity, your goal will be to re-engage learners, provide structure, and support their journey back into education.
Tuition acts as an alternative to school for these pupils and is typically part-time during school hours, Monday to Friday. You will work closely with Prospero Teaching, submitting weekly progress reports to ensure each learner receives the support they need.
