Our client, a respected nursery in Basingstoke, Hampshire, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of early years professionals, contributing to the growth and development of young children in a nurturing environment.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day activities within the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the highest quality of care and education. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of the children in your care.

Key responsibilities of the Nursery Assistant role include:
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and experiences that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Observing, assessing, and documenting each child's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and sharing insights with parents and colleagues
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies
- Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes, and rest periods, ensuring the comfort and well-being of each child

To be considered for this position, you must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare or an equivalent qualification. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a nursery setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential, as well as a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
