SEN English Teacher - North London
Full-Time | Long-Term to Scale | £155 - £191.29 per day
Start: ASAP or January
ANZUK Education is supporting a fantastic specialist secondary setting in North London that provides a calm, therapeutic and highly individualised environment for pupils with SEMH, autism, ADHD and associated needs. The school is nurturing, structured and focused on helping students rebuild confidence and engagement with learning.
We are seeking an English Teacher who can adapt the curriculum to meet diverse needs and support pupils with disrupted educational histories. Classes are small, with strong pastoral support and a trauma-informed, relationship-led approach. Creativity is encouraged, and you will have the freedom to tailor materials, build accessible lessons and celebrate meaningful progress.
This role suits someone empathetic, resilient and committed to inclusive practice in specialist education. If you thrive in environments where trust and consistency matter as much as academic work, this is an excellent opportunity.
A couple of key details:
- Long-term role with pay to scale where applicable
- Daily rate: £155 - £191.29 depending on experience and your choice of PAYE or Umbrella
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) required
- Experience working in an SEN environment required
If this sounds like the right fit, we'd love to hear from you.
We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Full employment history and references
Proof of Right to Work and qualifications
ANZUK Education is committed to equal opportunities and values diversity. No applicant will be discriminated against based on age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, culture or disability. Each applicant is assessed solely on merit.
