Green Lane Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our academy in January 2026, on a part time, permanent basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher.

Salary: Grade C Points 04 to 06 (£25,185 to £25,989 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £15,040.67.


Hours: 26.25 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks)

Your new school

Green Lane Primary Academy is a high achieving academy with results above national attainment figures. We are a two form entry school with approximately 450 children. The Academy was judged to be an Outstanding school in November 2023 in all areas, and we have held this judgement since 2009. In 2024 we achieved our highest Year 6 SAT outcomes.
