Summary
Key tasks and responsibilities
• To plan weekly menus and purchase/order or collect ingredients.
• To prepare and cook nutritious home cooked lunch for approx. 12-20 people in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• To manage a food budget.
• To ensure a high standard of quality, quantity and appearance of meals is maintained.
• To ensure all washing/clearing up is carried out after each serving.
• To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness following a schedule.
• Adhere to health and safety policies, food hygiene guidelines and keep appropriate records.
• Ensure all records are completed for “safer food, better business”.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of allergen information.
• Attend training courses as required.
Hours of work: Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 1pm.
