Our Short Break Service in Blantyre offers respite for adults with communication support needs and physical/learning disabilities, providing fun and meaningful activities in a positive environment.

About the role

Night-time care is just as important as daytime support. As a Female* Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll ensure individuals feel safe, comfortable, and valued throughout the night. You’ll create a calm, reassuring environment so they wake up feeling secure and cared for.

Key responsibilities:

>Regular safety checks and support with evening/morning routines
>Personal care, meal prep, and medication administration
>Maintain a clean, safe environment
>Update support plans and records accurately
>Foster a therapeutic, positive atmosphere

Shift pattern:

9:45 PM – 7:45 AM, 14 shifts over 4 weeks (10 hrs each)

We provide full training, induction, and shadowing to set you up for success.
