At Sense Scotland, we’re passionate about helping people with additional support needs live happy, fulfilling lives. Our Short Break Service in Blantyre offers respite for adults with communication support needs and physical/learning disabilities, providing fun and meaningful activities in a positive environment.

About the role

Night-time care is just as important as daytime support. As a Female* Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll ensure individuals feel safe, comfortable, and valued throughout the night. You’ll create a calm, reassuring environment so they wake up feeling secure and cared for.

Key responsibilities:

>Regular safety checks and support with evening/morning routines
>Personal care, meal prep, and medication administration
>Maintain a clean, safe environment
>Update support plans and records accurately
>Foster a therapeutic, positive atmosphere

Shift pattern:

9:45 PM – 7:45 AM, 14 shifts over 4 weeks (10 hrs each)

We provide full training, induction, and shadowing to set you up for success.
