Lindum Construction is the Group’s largest Building division, specializing in major construction projects, mainly in the Lincoln and extended East Midlands region but also nationally. We have a variety of clients in a range of sectors, including affordable housing, food, retail, and education, commercial, industrial and health. Our repeat client ratio is 85% hence we require excellent client engagement and collaborative working.

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Lindum Construction team.

Duties will include:
• Subcontract procurement, payments and measures
• Cash flow reporting
• Cost management and valuations
• Build estimates and variation costings
• Engagement with frameworks
• Working closely with the project delivery team members in successfully delivering our projects.
• Assisting with, and mentoring, developing members of the team.
• Undertaking regular accurate cost value reporting and forecasting as the project progresses.

Essential criteria
• The ability to manage your own time and meet demanding deadlines
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience of quantity surveying and cost management
• Good communicator, methodical and conscientious
• Able to build strong relationships
• Team player.
• Awareness of JCT and NEC forms of construction contracts
