We are seeking a Cook to join our team in preparing traditional simple but delicious meals in our Care Home kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a flair for creating culinary delights that are wholesome and hearty. Working within a small team.
Duties
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with the menu and recipes
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with stock management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Meal preparation and baking.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Cook or in a similar setting is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Qualifications in Culinary Arts or relevant field would be advantageous
