Summary

We are looking for an HR Project and Data Analyst with excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of HR data integrity to support the HR team during an organisation-wide transformation project.

This role will initially focus on manual data collation and data entry within our current HR system, PeopleXD, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. As the project progresses, you will support the HR Project Manager with the implementation of our new HR system, Workday, reviewing and evaluating data quality to inform new HR and business-wide processes.

We operate a hybrid working policy, and the individual in this role will be required on site a minimum of two days per week to support effective collaboration with the HR team and key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who can start in January 2026.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing key stakeholders involved in HR projects and supporting the HR Project Manager with core project activities
  • Working with the HR Project Manager and wider HR team to review HR data and understand downstream process impacts
  • Supporting HR projects in a flexible and collaborative manner
  • Improving data quality by transforming various formats of HR data, including manual files, into fit-for-purpose formats
  • Transferring data into templates for migration, ensuring data is captured, validated and aligned appropriately
  • Proactively identifying and communicating data gaps and assessing possible impacts on business and system processes
  • Identifying process and data improvements in line with new system requirements
  • Supporting process improvement and process mapping activities
  • Completing additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities
  • Complying with company policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of health, safety and well-being
  • Completing a DBS check as part of the FA's commitment to creating a safe environment for everyone in football, with the level of check determined by legislation and the requirements of the role

What are we looking for?

  • Experience managing HR data and systems
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and related data
  • Knowledge of GDPR and key data principles
  • Experience working in a fast-paced HR project environment
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels and presenting information in person or via Teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working with multiple data sources, including manual datasets
  • Ability to work autonomously while escalating risks or opportunities for improvement
  • Discreet and confidential approach at all times
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Technical skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills across HR and project teams
  • Ability to present data clearly to highlight downstream process impacts
  • Ability to transform existing data into formats required for new ways of working

Beneficial to have

  • Experience with PeopleXD, Workday or similar HR systems

Currently, we are working within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team.
