SEN Teaching Assistant – Eltham
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in the Eltham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with special educational needs thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support
Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning atmosphere
Help track progress and contribute to individual learning plans
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEN (school, nursery, or care settings)
Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
