JOB TITLE: Assistant Director of English

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Curriculum and working with a team of Assistant Directors of English

HOURS: Full Time

SALARY: Leadership Pay Range L5-9 £57,137 to £63,070

Closing date: Monday 8th December 2025 at 09:00

Lionheart Educational Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional professional to join our Trust Leadership Team as Assistant Director of English in our secondary phase. The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for the quality of curriculum and teaching of secondary English across the Trust, including the progress students make and their overall attainment at GCSE and A level. This is an exciting opportunity to really make a difference to wide range of learners. There will be career progression opportunities for the right candidate.
