It incorporates responsibilities for training, audit, quality assurance, statutory reviews, liaison and provides expert advice both operationally and strategically. The role supports GP practices in matters concerning the protection and safeguarding of adults and children, including Prevent, Domestic Abuse, Mental Capacity Act etc and promoting compliance with statutory safeguarding reviews, national standards and local policies.
We are a supportive and collaborative Think Family safeguarding team. Our work spans the entire system, ensuring that families receive the care and protection they need.
Our team includes seven Named GPs, and we pride ourselves on being inclusive, approachable, and friendly. We value diversity and create an environment where every voice matters. Supporting each other is at the heart of what we do, and we believe that strong teamwork leads to better outcomes for the people we serve.
