Summary

Temporary Business Support Officer
Starting salary between £27423 and £32439 per annum

Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2028 - full time 37 hours
Based at Kings Court Council Offices, Kings Lynn

If you have excellent administrative and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, and be able to collect, analyse and present a variety of data with a determination and enthusiasm to see projects through to successful conclusion, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our planning team.

We need you to provide project support to a wide range of projects within the planning service and be involved in the implementation of services and initiatives. You will carry out research, gather and analyse data and interpret and present the results of these in a range of formats. You will also provide excellent administrative support including managing diaries, arranging meetings, taking minutes, updating project documentation, spreadsheets and overall project chase to ensure deadlines are met.

Educated to A level standard as a minimum you will have significate experience of working in an office environment with a working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases and word processing systems. With excellent time management and organisational skills, you will be able to effectively plan, organise and prioritse work adopting a methodical and accurate approach. Please note during the six-month probation period, this role must be office based, and after this time flexible/hybrid working arrangements can be in place.
