TouchBase Dunbartonshire is a purpose-built centre located in the Bishopbriggs area, designed to provide a variety of support services for adults with disabilities and additional needs. The day centre aims to foster personal growth, community involvement, and individual independence.
TouchBase Dunbartonshire is conveniently located near public transport links and features a range of amenities, including arts and music spaces, a multi-sensory area, a garden, and a courtyard. It serves as both a support hub and a social space, fostering participation and interaction in a flexible, enriching environment.
As part of our team, you’ll join a fun, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, supporting people with diverse interests, hobbies, and personalities. You’ll play a key role in helping them live meaningful lives, engaging in activities they love and exploring new opportunities both within TouchBase and out in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
>Supporting and monitoring healthcare needs, including administering medication and providing personal care.
>Promoting independence and respecting individuality in line with each person’s Support Plan.
>Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of daily tasks and activities.
>Collaborating effectively with colleagues, families, and the individuals we support to ensure high-quality care and communication.
Shift rota:
We are offering 37 hours per week, working via a staff rota Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Building trusting relationships is at the heart of this role, providing the foundation to help each person achieve their personal goals and unlock their full potential.
