Role: Social Worker – Level 2 (Children, G9)
We are seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join the safeguarding team in Sleaford. You will manage complex caseloads, undertake statutory visits, and work flexibly to support children in care and residential services.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring statutory duties are met.

Undertake assessments, care planning, and statutory visits, including after-school hours when required.

Attend duty in the office once per week, team meetings monthly, and service development sessions bi-monthly.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and families to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and council policies.

Drive across Lincolnshire to meet the needs of children and families (mileage calculated from Sleaford office).

Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with a Local Authority in children’s social work.

Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration.

Ability to work flexibly and manage statutory visits outside standard hours.

Willingness to travel across Lincolnshire as part of the role.

Strong communication, assessment, and case management skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children.
