We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sports Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and support our clients in their recovery, performance, and overall well-being.
As a Sports Therapist, you will play a key role in helping clients manage pain, improve mobility, recover from injuries, and enhance athletic performance. Working closely with our practitioners, you are expected to contribute to integrated treatment plans that draw from both Western and Eastern wellness philosophies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality sports therapy to clients, tailored to individual needs and treatment goals. Should be trained in domains like Injury assessment & diagnosis, Functional movement screening (FMS), Musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, Injury prevention strategies, Postural assessment, Assessing clients' physical condition and develop personalized therapy protocols. They are also expected to work collaboratively with other therapists and wellness professionals to design holistic care plans as well as educate clients on self-care, injury prevention, and mobility techniques while maintaining detailed treatment notes and client records. They must uphold hygiene and safety standards in all therapy practices and contribute to a peaceful and therapeutic environment that reflects Modern and Ancient holistic values. Expected to have a great skill on the Treatment & Intervention Terminology like Soft tissue therapy, Myofascial release, Joint mobilisations, Trigger point therapy, Deep tissue massage.
Requirements
• Diploma or certification or equivalent in Sports Therapy.
• Minimum 2 year of hands-on experience in a similar role with supervisory experience.
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
• Excellent manual therapy skills including deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Respect for and interest in other complementary therapies (training provided if needed).
NB: Priority will be given to those candidates who have any additional certifications on physiotherapy or advanced physiotherapy.
