Personal Assistant RequiredI am looking to recruit a female Personal Assistant for my 14 year old daughter.Hours wanted:4 hours per week all year around. Additional hours available.Specific days and timings to be discussed.More about the young person:This person is a happy and sociable young lady who likes to communicate her likes and dislikes through vocalisations. She is completely reliant on adults to interpret her wishes and feelings and for all her care needs. She enjoys playing games, listening to music and watching television.This person has a diagnosis of myoclonic absence epilepsy, neuromuscular condition, motor and global developmental delay, severe motor disability and is registered blind.

Support Required:This person needs support in building on her knowledge and understanding of language through activities in the community and developing greater independence.
Experience and Skills:Experience working with children with disabilities or additional needs is essential.Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach are key.
Other Requirements:Must be able to travel to and from activities or support her at home.Hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Hourly rate:
£16.47 for self-employed PA's.
