Summary
Perfect position for a Care Worker lookign for flexible shifts with availibiity on weekday nights
In this role you will be expected to assist the existing care team in empowering individuals whilst ensuring a high level of safety and well-being. You will achieve this by creating an environment that promotes independence, opportunities and a high quality of life for each resident.
Additional duties may include the following:
• Assist individuals with their nighttime living activities, including meal preparation and personal care.
• Support clients in developing independent living skills through engaging activities.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
• Encourage participation in community activities to enhance social skills and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
• Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
• Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
• Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
• Safety and Comfort: Work with the existing team to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
• Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a referenceable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
**We do not offer visa Sponsorships**
This is an ongoing opportunity.
Typical shifts will be Monday to Friday with the hours being between 22:00 to 07:00 the following morning
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
