Summary
Elevate Your Career: Qualified Teacher - Fast Track to Lead Teacher (SEN)
Tired of waiting years for advancement? Launch your career beyond the mainstream at an 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated school for children with autism (ages 4-19). We don't just offer a job; we offer an accelerated path to leadership and a fully funded Master's-level education in behavioural science.
If you've successfully completed at least one year of your ECT induction and are hungry for specialised growth and genuine career momentum, this is your next step.
The Opportunity: Growth & Specialisation
We're looking for a motivated Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to play an integral role in shaping our dynamic curriculum. This is a chance to move past rote lesson delivery and engage in real, impactful curriculum design.
-
Fast-Track Progression: Upon successful completion of your 12-week probation, you will immediately progress to the role of Lead Teacher (QTS), giving you leadership experience faster than in a mainstream setting.
-
Specialised Expertise: Train in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and positive reinforcement-the most effective, evidence-based approach for pupils with complex needs.
-
Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate daily with Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Speech & Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists to become a specialist educator.
Invest in Your Future: Fully Funded Training
We eliminate the financial barrier to advanced education, offering pathways to globally recognised credentials:
-
Fully Funded Masters: Complete a Masters in High Incidence & Disabilities (worth up to £13,000).
-
Behaviour Certification: Earn specialised qualifications like Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.
-
Signing Bonus: Receive a £1000 joining bonus as a welcome to our team.
What You'll Do (Less Admin, More Impact)
The role is focused on direct pupil impact, significantly reducing time spent on marking and large-scale planning compared to a mainstream environment.
-
Curriculum Designer: Contribute to the design and differentiation of long, medium, and short-term plans, including wider school activities and themed events.
-
Expert Teacher: Provide direct teaching and support in small class groups or on a 1:1 basis for autistic pupils (4-19).
-
Data-Driven Professional: Collect, record, and analyse data to monitor pupil progress and develop targeted support plans.
