Summary
Specialist SEN Teacher: Advance Your Practice in Behaviour Analysis
Are you an experienced SEN educator ready to master a specialised, evidence-based approach? Move beyond general SEN teaching and join an 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated school for children with autism (ages 4-19) where instruction is fully driven by Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). This is a role for teachers who want to perfect their craft and collaborate within a genuine multi-disciplinary team.
We offer a better work-life balance with less administrative load (less marking or large-scale planning), allowing you to focus on high-impact pupil outcomes.
Focus on Expertise: ABA and Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration
This position is designed for the specialist. You will deepen your understanding of complex needs and work alongside professionals who are leaders in their field.
-
Integrated Team: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Speech & Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. Your teaching practice will be directly informed by their expertise, allowing for genuinely cohesive pupil development plans.
-
Evidence-Based Practice: Provide direct support and teaching using behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement techniques-the gold standard for accelerating learning and managing behaviours that challenge.
-
Data-Driven Role: Your expertise will be enhanced through structured data collection, recording, and analysis to monitor progress, ensuring every intervention is targeted and effective.
Advance Your Credentials: Fully Funded Specialism
We recognise and reward your existing SEN commitment by providing fully funded pathways to highly specialised, internationally recognised qualifications:
-
Fully Funded Master's: Pursue a Masters in High Incidence & Disabilities (worth up to £13,000) at our expense.
-
Behaviour Certification: Achieve specialised, professional credentials such as Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.
-
Career Trajectory: This role offers an immediate pathway to Lead Teacher (QTS) upon successful completion of a 12-week probationary period.
-
Joining Incentive: A £1000 signing bonus is provided.
Your Impact & Requirements
You will be responsible for Class Teaching in small groups or 1:1, Curriculum Design (differentiated long, medium, and short-term plans), and Curriculum Delivery (including wider school activities).
