Job OverviewEast Park Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated Achievement Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a child with an Educational Health Care Plan.Contract and Salary DetailsHours: 24.33 hours per week, term-time only (190 days), fixed-term until 31 August 2026Grade: 3, Scp 3-5, £13,707 - £14,142 per annum (actual salary)Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will:Provide effective 1:1 support to maximise attainment following targets set out in support plans/EHCP's.Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.Have a knowledge of children with SEND and or emotional/behavioural needs.Support the pupil with early development needs including speech and language.Undertake structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities where appropriate.Attend any relevant training where necessary.Further information regarding the post can be found in the attached job description and person specification.Why choose East Park?East Park Primary School is part of Horizon Academy Trust - a caring community of pupils, parents, staff and governors.
