English Martyrs’ Catholic Primary is a highly respected, oversubscribed two-form entry Catholic primary school, situated in the West End of Newcastle which includes a 12 place Additional Resouce Provision (ARP) for pupils with communication and interaction needs. Since April 2021, we have been part of the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust, a family of 5 secondary schools and 39 primary schools from across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland, in the north of the Diocese.An opportunity has arisen to appoint two Supervisory Assistants to supervise the children throughout the lunchtime break and assist in the promotion of good behaviour management. The post is initially Fixed Term for 6 months, pending a permanent appointment. Weekly hours would be 5.5 per week (Monday - Friday), on a term time basis.This post attracts a Living Wage supplement. In addition to the hourly rate, this post will receive the Living Wage supplement to bring the hourly rate up to a minimum of £13.435 per hour.The successful candidate will:
