About the role
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support daily warehouse operations including receiving goods, moving stock, maintaining accurate inventory data, and ensuring timely movement of components between sites and external storage facilities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, accuracy, and contributing to the smooth running of warehouse and logistics processes. You will help ensure all stock is correctly inputted, palletised, stored, and accessible, while supporting pick-and-pack operations for customer orders. Working hours for this role will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Main responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive goods into the site, move stock across warehouse areas, and palletise components for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock records, including inputting data across facilities and completing work orders in the ERP system.
- Liaise with the supply base and outsourced storage facilities to ensure smooth, timely movement of components and product flow.
- Ensure the Pick and Pack area is fully stocked to support efficient customer order fulfilment.
- Uphold all warehouse Health & Safety requirements and manage/maintain consumable items.
About you:
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be reliable, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You must be computer literate, with familiarity in warehouse inventory systems being advantageous. Essential qualities include being physically fit (as lifting is required), capable of using initiative, and committed to teamwork and accuracy within a warehouse environment.
