Full-time, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (10 hours per day)

Schedule:

5 days a week

Your Responsibilities

As an essential member of the nursery team, you will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5. Key duties include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate educational activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Acting as a designated Key Person for a group of children, monitoring their progress, and maintaining accurate developmental records.
  • Establishing positive and productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and welfare are maintained at all times.
  • Observing, assessing, and documenting children's learning and development.
Essential Requirements
  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or an equivalent qualification such as NNEB, or NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development).
  • Recent, relevant experience working within a formal early years setting (nursery or pre-school).
  • Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Strong verbal communication, written skills, and good organisational abilities.
  • A genuine commitment to working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
