We’relooking for a Housekeeping Manager to join #TeamUHD!


You'llwork aspart of the managementteam to support theHousekeepingservice across the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site.


You’llhave a specialist areayou’reresponsible for(quality, recruitment and training, equipment and consumable,rosteringand waste) and act as ‘duty manager’ to ensure the team areallocatedto the mostappropriate locationstodeliveraneffective, first-classservice.Our teams ensure that the hospital is kept clean, providing a safe and pleasant environment for our patients,visitorsand staff.


Full training for the role is provided, with specific training for the specialist area. Leadership and management courses are also available.We’rea largedepartment sopreviousexperience in managing or supervising a large team would be an advantage.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Interview: 19th December 2025


Act as 'duty manager' for Housekeeping service on a rota basis ensuring cleaning resources are deployed across the hospital in the most appropriate locations

Manage a team of around 50 Housekeeping Assistants including leading team meetings and absence management

Lead a specialist area within Housekeeping (Quality, Equipment/Consumables, Recruitment and Training, HealthRoster (staffing) or Waste
