Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Advanced Clinical Paediatric Audiologist to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality audiological care to children from birth through adolescence. The role demands expertise in auditory development, paediatric hearing loss, and age-appropriate assessment techniques, including ABR, OAE, tympanometry, and behavioural audiometry. The successful candidate will manage hearing aid fitting, verification including RECD, and follow-up, while maintaining a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and developmental milestones. A solid grasp of NHS service frameworks, clinical governance, and collaborative working with professionals across ENT, paediatrics, and education is essential. This primarily hospital-based role spans two main sites, with some community outreach to support families locally. While the core focus is paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, the postholder will also contribute to adult audiology services.
