Summary

Machine Operators - Crumlin

Crumlin, South Wales | £12.21 per hour plus weekly attendance bonus | Full time | Temp to perm | Continental shifts.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Machine Operators for a well-established plastics manufacturing company in the Crumlin area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing full-time work with competitive pay, structured shifts and potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and package plastic moulded products.

  • Operate semi-automatic machines after training.

  • Monitor for faults and maintain quality standards.

  • Handle pallets including stacking, wrapping and moving with trolleys.

  • Clean workstations and tools, including the use of solvents when required.

  • Run multiple machines once trained.

  • Comply with company health and safety policies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous factory or manufacturing experience (essential).

  • Injection moulding experience preferred but not essential.

  • Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts covering days and nights.

  • Own transport due to location.

  • Safety boots required; hi-vis vest provided.

Hours & Pay

  • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (two days, two nights).

  • 12-hour shifts.

  • Training provided on day shifts before moving to the full shift pattern.

  • £12.21 per hour basic pay.

  • £55.50 weekly attendance bonus for completing all scheduled shifts.

  • Overtime paid at 125% and 150%.
