WF Tech is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected precision engineering firm specialising in the manufacture and maintenance of complex injection mould tooling for a wide range of industries. With decades of expertise, the company is known for its high standards, advanced capability, and exceptional quality of work.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Miller with strong experience on Hurco CNC milling machines. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machinist who enjoys producing high-precision components, working from detailed engineering drawings, and being part of a supportive, expert team.
Key Responsibilities
⦠Program, set, and operate Hurco CNC milling machines (WinMax preferred)
⦠Machine high-precision components for injection mould tooling from drawings and CAD data
⦠Work to tight tolerances, ensuring exceptional quality and accuracy
⦠Support the manufacture, repair, and modification of mould tools through precision milling
⦠Collaborate with design, EDM, and toolroom teams to resolve machining and tooling issues
⦠Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and delivery standards
Skills & Experience Required
⦠Strong experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering or mould tool environment
⦠Proficient in operating Hurco CNC milling machines (WinMax control advantageous)
⦠Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD data
⦠High attention to detail with excellent machining accuracy
⦠Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
⦠Ideally apprenticeship-trained or qualified in Precision Engineering or a similar discipline
Desirable
⦠Experience supporting the wider toolmaking process
⦠Knowledge of polishing, bench fitting, or tool trials
⦠Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems
