Summary
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all incoming customer calls, enquiries, and requests for advice.
* Respond to emails using professional, concise communication and adapt standard templates where needed.
* Prepare accurate, bespoke quotations and update jobs using our in-house system.
* Build rapport with key accounts and record any bespoke requirements in the relevant internal systems.
* Follow up on outstanding quotes to progress sales and understand customer intentions.
* Keep customers informed of any changes to lead times, pricing, or order details.
* Gather and record feedback, investigate lost opportunities, and escalate significant trends.
* Manage and prioritise personal and shared inboxes to ensure timely responses.
* Support internal processes including drawing reviews, disclaimer forms, auditing preparation, and credit/recut requests.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to internal improvement projects and documentation.
About You
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
* Confident handling phone enquiries and building effective customer relationships.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Comfortable reviewing and amending technical information (full training provided).
* A proactive approach, with the confidence to follow up, escalate, and resolve issues.
