Summary


Due to the promotion of the existing post-holder an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to work in the Central Lancs. CMHT based in Ormskirk. This is an ideal post for a newly qualified individual. The successful applicant will join two other Clinical Psychologists working in the Team, and a total of nine Psychological Therapists working within the Central and West Locality. We are a friendly and supportive service, taking Trainees from the three North West training courses on placement, and we actively encourage CPD. • To provide a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to clients referred to the multi-disciplinary CMHT
• To provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and psychological therapy.
• To offer advice and consultation to non-psychological colleagues and to other non-professional carers.
• To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Specialty and the CMHT’s policies and procedures.
• To utilise research skills for audit policy and service development within the area served by the service.
