Our network of partnership schools trusts our market expertise, and many use us as their exclusive recruitment partner, meaning we have consistent work available all year round.We are looking to recruit a Year 6 specialist teacher with experience delivering the SATs.
Your new role
From January until the end of the SATs tests, we always see an increased demand for Year 6 teaching specialists to work in local primary schools, in order to help with the following:
- Full class cover teaching
- PPA cover teaching
- SATs boosters
- Inventions teaching
- Additional support for SEN and/or low ability children
As a result, we are looking for experienced upper KS2 teachers who can help their local primary schools with SATs delivery and outcomes.
This is a flexible job role, and we can offer both full-time and part-time work patterns.
What you'll need to succeed
To apply for this role, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. You must meet the below core criteria:
- Experience teaching Year 6 and delivering the SATs
- A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS
If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years. We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
