About the role

Are you seeking a new opportunity to work with a motivated team? Are you dedicated to ensuring the high standards and cleanliness of your local community's environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a General Grounds and Cleansing Operative for Trowbridge West. The successful candidate will assist in a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to grounds maintenance work, street cleansing, bin instalment and removal, traffic management, graffiti removal and litter picking.

Requirements


  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or street cleansing.

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Certification for chainsaws (CS30/Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting, CS31/Felling Small Trees), pesticide spraying (PA1/PA6), and traffic management (12D (M1/M1) would be highly advantageous, however, training will be provided if needed to the right candidate.

  • Willingness to learn and work well in a team, with a proactive nature.

  • A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.

  • A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
