Summary


The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), forms Europe’s largest comprehensive cancer centre. Our GI/Lymphoma Unit, based across Sutton and Chelsea, is internationally recognised for excellence in clinical care and research, hosting numerous key opinion leaders.

We are seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to join our team for a one-year fixed-term post, with the possibility of extension. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain experience in clinical trials and translational research in gastrointestinal (GI) cancers within a world-leading oncology centre.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE X2 AVAILABLE POSTS

The successful candidate will work within a highly active clinical research environment, contributing to a substantial portfolio of academic and commercial trials supported by the GI/Lymphoma Unit. The post includes participation in new, follow-up clinics and dedicated research clinics, with exposure to the latest systemic anti-cancer therapies within clinical trials.

This programme will provide:
• In-depth experience in clinical trial design, delivery, and governance

Who Should Apply:

This post is ideal for individuals currently in training or recently qualified (CCT) in medical or clinical oncology, with a strong interest in GI cancers and clinical research. Applicants should be enthusiastic, well-organised, and committed to advancing evidence-based cancer care.
