Summary


An existing secondment opportunity has opened in the Employee Relations Team at Hillingdon Hospital for six months. The HR Consultant will advise managers across two divisions alongside the HR Business Partners, Unplanned Care and Estates and Facilities for someone who understands the challenges of working with a large caseload.

The role will work between Mount Vernon and Hillingdon Hospital.



To provide operational HR/organisational development consultancy services across resourcing, medical staffing, service redesign, workforce remodelling, change management, employee relations/legislation, terms and conditions and employment policy/procedures.

The HR Consultant will:
- Provide complex HR advice, support, guidance and facilitation on a broad range of operational HR matters.

- Undertake casework, including complex disciplinary, sickness, grievance and performance management casework.

- Support the Human Resources Business Partner in the planning and implementation of HR and organisational development strategies within designated areas and support the implementation of specific corporate human resources/organisational development projects as set by the Director of People and / or the Head of ER/ Business Partner

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
