The role of a CCTV Operator is an exciting role where you will play a key part in helping to keep our residents, communities and businesses safe. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and great attention to detail to join our CCTV Team. Working in our CCTV Control Room you will use our CCTV cameras across the district to monitor incidents and work closely with other agencies including the police.
Our CCTV Control Room monitors and records footage from our camera network 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. With direct communication links to the police, we use CCTV to prevent and detect incidents of crime, public disorder, anti-social behaviour, theft and more.
This role involves working rotating shifts including weekends, nights and some bank holidays.
The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced police vetting and an SIA CCTV Operators License. These must be maintained as a condition of employment in this role.
