The HR Team at LJMU support the whole of the employee lifecycle from recruitment, induction, professional development and progression. We operate across all areas of the University's activity, helping devise and implement people strategies and policies in relation to staff recognition and reward, equality and diversity, staff engagement and staff wellbeing as well as providing a comprehensive range of HR services.

We currently have a vacancy for a HR Resourcing Assistant, where the successful applicant can make an immediate and positive impact on the services we deliver to our circa 3,000 employees.

Our HR Resourcing team are the first point of contact for all potential candidates and visitors and liaise daily with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to ensure a smooth and professional recruitment service. You will provide a high quality, customer focussed recruitment service which includes advertising vacancies, processing offers/contracts of employment and carrying out all pre-employment checks, therefore, excellent administration, communication and organisational skills are essential.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service with a great attention to detail and be experienced with IT packages such as Microsoft Office and Outlook. Previous experience of working within a HR department is desirable and experience of using HR systems including e-recruitment would be advantageous, as you will be working with our recruitment and HR systems on a daily basis.
