Summary


Are you an enthusiastic, passionate, and highly motivated Occupational Therapist eager to make a real difference in mental health care.We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic Adult Occupational Therapy Team

This will be a part time post in the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at Springview MH Unit, Clatterbridge Hospital

You will be part of the wider adult team offering diverse opportunities to a wide variety of patients from various backgrounds including forensic patients. PICU provides the opportunity to be able to experience working with challenging and complex patients, in a 10 bedded unit

You will work with both male and female patients with various mental health conditions. Within this team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users aged 18 & above who are experiencing acute mental health challenges. You will work along with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve the same goals

As a band 5 OT you will be supervised by the OT band 6 lead for PICU, you will also be working alongside experienced OTTI’s

Responsibilities include

Conducting assessments, OT interventions, Group work and supporting with discharge planning

Taking on the rewarding challenge of managing a diverse and complex caseload

Enhancing the lives of service users through facilitating meaningful therapeutic interventions

You will have the support of your manager and the wider team

You’ll work closely with ourOccupational Therapists, experienced OT Technical Instructors (OTTIS) and our integrated multidisciplinary team (MDT)to ensure a seamless and supportive care experience for every individual
