Summary
Nära Nurseries – A place where children, families, and educators thrive together.
We’re looking for a caring, committed Early Years Educator to join our wonderful team at our Charlbury nursery.
We have full-time roles, 38 hours over 4 days, between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. We also have part-time roles available, such as 2–3 full days per week, or set shifts 7 am–1 pm, 1 pm–6 pm, or lunchtime cover from 11:30 am–2:30 pm. These roles are offered on an all-year-round basis.
You might be interested in joining our bank of relief staff. This is a zero-hours contract designed to cover staff sickness, holidays, and training. While hours aren't guaranteed, we’re a large team and are able to offer regular shifts.
At Nära Nurseries, we’re creating a nurturing community where each child’s heart, hands, and mind are nourished. If you’re passionate about early education and want to be part of a values-driven, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing inspiring, high-quality care and education for young children.
Creating a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment aligned with the EYFS.
Acting as a key person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
Planning, observing, and assessing children’s development to support their individual learning journeys.
Contributing to a team culture based on kindness, collaboration, and respect.
Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years.
Genuine passion for early education and child development.
A positive, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach.
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
A strong alignment with our values: kindness, integrity, respect, and inclusivity.
Why Join Nära Nurseries?
A warm, inclusive, and values-led team culture.
Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Involvement in curriculum enrichment and sustainability initiatives.
Beautiful, thoughtfully designed nursery environments with high-quality resources.
Competitive salary and dedicated employee wellbeing support.
Our Commitment to Safer Recruitment and Equal Opportunities:
Nära Nurseries is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All successful applicants will undergo enhanced DBS and reference checks, along with our robust vetting procedures.
We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We aim to ensure fair and inclusive recruitment practices that reflect the diverse communities we serve.
