Are you a passionate Teacher of Maths looking for your next permanent role in Thurrock, Essex? I am working in partnership with a thriving 11-18 secondary school that is looking to appoint a committed Maths specialist to join their successful team. With flexible start dates in January 2026, April 2026 or September 2026, the school is keen to hear from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are ready to make a real impact on pupils' progress in Mathematics.
You will be joining a well-resourced Maths department with a collaborative and supportive team of colleagues. The school has a strong track record of improving outcomes in Maths, and you will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate. There is a clear, sequenced curriculum in place, but you will also have the freedom to bring your own ideas and creativity to the classroom.
As the recruitment partner for this school, I am particularly interested in speaking to teachers who can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management and a genuine commitment to raising achievement. ECTs will receive a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme, while more experienced teachers will have access to leadership development pathways. TLRs may be available for the right person, particularly if you can offer experience or interest in leading a key stage, curriculum area or whole-school initiative.
