Long Term Futures is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive Reception team in a Haringey primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is passionate about supporting early development, communication, and learning through play.

About the Role

You will be working closely with the Reception class teacher and EYFS lead to create an engaging and language-rich environment for all children. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils during carpet sessions, group work, and free-flow learning.
- Encouraging children's language development through play, conversation, and modelling.
- Assisting with phonics, early reading, early number work, and fine-motor activities.
- Supporting personal, social, and emotional development to help children develop confidence and independence.
- Preparing resources, setting up activities, and helping maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
- Working with pupils who may need additional support with communication, behaviour, or social interaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in Nursery or Reception, or a strong desire to build experience in EYFS.
- A positive, patient, and caring approach with excellent communication skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for early years development and child-led learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting children's progress throughout the year.
