We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work closely with students across years 9 and 10 within this provision. The successful candidate will encourage positive behaviour, help pupils develop emotional regulation strategies, and promote strong engagement in learning. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to deliver tailored interventions that build confidence, resilience, and the skills students need to succeed in their GCSE studies. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a calm, nurturing, and well-resourced educational environment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group support to help students with behavioural and emotional regulation, focusing primarily on KS3 pupils.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff to implement and reinforce positive behaviour strategies across the school.
- Use adaptive strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours, promoting engagement and learning progression.
- Develop, monitor, and review individual behaviour support plans, liaising with pastoral leads, parents, and other professionals as needed.

Key Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
- You must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Education, Psychology, Health and Social Care, SEN, Behaviour Support, or related field (desirable).
- Naturally patient, resilient, and empathetic, with a calm, consistent approach.
- Excellent communication & de-escalation skills. Confident liaising with senior leaders, therapists, parents, and external professionals.

Why Choose Long Term Futures?
- Competitive pay rates up to £130 per day.
- Access to sector-leading CPD and training, particularly in secondary/KS3 support techniques.
- Full consultant support during placement, from application to induction and beyond.
- Clearly defined career progression pathways, including permanent positions for successful placements.
- Opportunity to make a meaningful, long-lasting difference in the lives of exceptionally diverse young people.
