Summary

We are looking for a part-time Support Worker to join our team, providing person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities at our supported living service in Sheffield.




Our service contains 8 individuals who require support and assistance with every aspect of daily life - including personal care, medication concordance, budgeting, bill paying, menu planning and meal preparation, shopping, laundry, attending appointments, and finding and accessing activities and services within the local community. This will therefore also include a high level of moving and handling on a daily basis. You will engage with service users and build trusting, therapeutic relationships. You will work closely with family members, other professionals, and agencies to provide coordinated, personalised support, which meets the identified needs of our service users, and maintains their quality of life.




While experience is not required for this role, it is desirable due to the extent of support provided at this service. We are looking to recruit someone who enjoys a challenging and rewarding job, and has the commitment and dedication to go the extra mile to positively support those within our service.




This service is based in Chapeltown, North Sheffield and is close to Rotherham.
