Summary
To ensure the efficient day to day delivery of services within the centre Ensure effective liaison with tenants in the Centre. To ensure that the centre is both safe and secure for all users. To ensure that patients and other users of the building are met by a welcoming and efficient first point of contact, whether in person or by telephone. The comprehensive management of the administration and ancillary team Review of staff training needs by PRD / KSF and ongoing assessment to ensure service needs are met. To deal with difficult patients over the telephone and face to face, looking to resolve any conflict and take appropriate action where necessary. To monitor and report staff sickness, absence and annual leave. To act as Fire Warden for the building identifying risks and organising fire lectures. To ensure that all policies and procedures relevant to staff and premises are adhered to. Responsibility for the reporting of any maintenance needs, or structural defects and submission of requisitions. Requisition and ordering of all medical and non medical equipment, goods and supplies as required by staff and others. Co-ordination of administration and ancillary team to ensure there is sufficient cover for periods of annual leave and sick leave ensuring continuity of service. To act as authorised signature for mileage expenses and extra and unsocial hours payments for administrative and ancillary team. To organise and co-ordinate the documentation and despatch for the archival / microfilming of patient records. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
