Summary
Were thrilled to be launching a brand-new residential service in Beckenham, developed in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. This marks an exciting milestone as we expand Everyturns services into London for the very first time. Our new 12-14 bed CQC registered service will provide specialist, clinically led community rehabilitation for people with complex mental health needs, delivering 24/7 clinical support in a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment. Were now looking for an experienced and values-driven Clinical Lead to help establish, shape, and guide this service from the ground up. This is a rare and meaningful opportunity to influence a brand-new model of life-changing care, provide exceptional clinical leadership, and make a lasting impact on peoples recovery journeys. As Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care. Working closely with, and, deputising for the Service Manager, you will champion clinical excellence, support effective team leadership, and nurture a culture of continuous improvement. You will also play a vital role in the organisation and development of the service, including staffing, budgets, and resource management. What you'll do: Ensure the needs of service users and their carers are assessed and met, providing person-centred, outcomes-focused care with dignity and accuracy. Maintain timely, high-quality patient records in line with all clinical and regulatory standards. Lead and support the staff team to ensure effective deployment of resources, achievement of targets, and strong team wellbeing. Oversee safe medication management, offering clinical guidance aligned with professional, medical, and nursing standards. Coach, mentor, and support student and newly qualified nurses, fostering professional growth and high clinical standards. Identify and manage clinical risks proactively, implementing measures to reduce and mitigate potential harm. Contribute to and monitor the service budget, identifying efficiencies that support financial sustainability. Use service user feedback to drive meaningful improvements to care and service delivery. Conduct regular audits of clinical practice, review incidents and near misses, and report findings to the Quality and Safety team. Address and manage team conflict constructively, promoting a respectful and supportive working environment. Deputise for the Service Manager when required, ensuring continuous leadership and clinical oversight. Undertake any reasonable duties to support the organisation and maintain high standards of care. What you'll have: We'd love to hear from you if you possess the following: NMC First Level Registered Nurse with significant post-registration experience. Knowledge of complex mental health conditions, behaviours that challenge, and safe medication management. Experience supporting service users with high clinical needs and delivering positive outcomes. Strong clinical decision-making, risk management, and safeguarding knowledge. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills. Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff development. Ability to investigate complaints and implement practical solutions. Strong organisational, time-management, and IT skills (MS Office, CRM).
