This is a career opportunity for the right candidate as initially there are no specialist skills required to do the job. We are interested in people who are passionate about developing their career at RAF Marham.

Previous knowledge or experience of working in an engineering environment would be beneficial, however full training will be provided. We are after someone who is excited to learn and grow at Serco!

Main responsibilities of the role include:
Performing surface finish tasks in accordance with the quality policy procedures and standards required.
Manual (Abrading), Chemical and Media paint removal methods on Aircraft, Aircraft components and numerous MoD ground assets prior to repainting.
Ensuring that appropriate health and safety aspects including COSHH, and Risk Assessments are strictly complied with, including control of entry by unauthorised personnel into work areas.
Ensure that all paints and associated materials are correctly stored in accordance with instructions.
Be prepared to challenge/report others who display unsafe/unapproved behaviours and practices, including stopping tasks where an unsafe practice or variance from approved process is observed.

What you’ll need to do the role

A Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to follow defined procedures and work instructions.
