Rikama Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded SEN school in Canterbury to recruit a dedicated and nurturing teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract beginning November 2025.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEND or SEMH needs.
- Teach across a range of subjects, with specialise in Art or Maths particularly welcome.
- Adapt existing lesson plans to suit individual learners and maintain a dynamic, pupil-focused classroom.
- Make effective use of both classroom and outdoor learning spaces to enhance engagement and development.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
- A solid understanding of KS3 and KS4 curriculam.
- A creative, nurturing, and adaptable teaching approach.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young people.
- The ability to commute to Canterbury or the surrounding area.
