Summary


We have exciting opportunities for a full time Clinical Support Worker to join our Medical day unit based at the Conquest Hospital.

This new unit is a planned day case service operating Monday to Friday 8-8.30pm providing day case procedures .

We are looking for people who have excellent interpersonal skills and are willing to learn, to join our friendly team. Previous experience working within a care setting is required and additional training will be given as needed.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to enhance their basic skills and would be expected to work within a multidisciplinary team. Successful applicants will be expected to work Monday to Friday 8-4

Full time 37.5 hours per week

The Clinical Support Worker - previously known as HCA's (Band 3) is a member of the
care team who provides:
• Personal care or chaperone duties
• Records patient information
• A range of delegated clinical care duties
• Undertakes and records patients’ vital signs
• Escalate any concerns in observation or change in
patient’s condition
• Enhanced observations
• Patient escort role
• Take blood/ Cannulate
• collect blood products
• support flow of floor
