As part of our growing Engineering family, we are seeking a dedicated Fabric/Groundsman to maintain and enhance the quality and appearance of our facilities and grounds. This role involves ensuring buildings are well-maintained, supporting minor fabric repairs, and keeping outdoor spaces clean, safe, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities, including minor repairs to fabric elements such as doors, windows, flooring, and walls.
-Perform basic landscaping tasks.
-Keep pathways, outdoor furniture, and communal areas clean and well-presented.
-Carry out general maintenance and repair duties to uphold safety and functionality.
-Assist with waste disposal, recycling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Collaborative working and supporting other maintenance teams as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in groundskeeping or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of building fabric repairs and outdoor maintenance.
Ability to operate gardening equipment and hand tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
Full Driving license.
